General Rules and Guidelines

 

The following rules and guidelines must be reviewed prior to submitting an abstract to the conference:

  • The ONLY METHOD of submitting an abstract is through the abstract submission site. E-mail and paper submissions will not be accepted.
  • All submissions must be received by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on September 8, 2006. The abstract submission site will not be available after September 8, 11:59 pm PST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts must have more than one author. Abstracts with only one author will be automatically rejected.
  • Only one submission per student is acceptable. If a student submits more than one abstract, all abstracts associated with the student will be rejected.
  • Duplicate abstracts submitted by different authors will be automatically rejected.
  • Students must have permission from their research advisor and/or program director before submitting an abstract to the conference.
  • ONLY STUDENTS can be presenting authors.
  • ONLY ONE STUDENT can present per abstract.
  • Work must be proofread prior to submission. The ABRCMS staff will not edit abstracts.
  • Submission of an abstract does not confirm registration. Everyone must register for the conference and pay the appropriate fee in order to attend the conference.
